Technical SEO Audits & Fixes

I’m Neo Pecorro. I run filterfitnow.com as my own SEO project — and I do freelance technical SEO for other sites too. What follows is a real finding on your site, using the same process that took my own site’s audit score from 53 to 84.

Most SEO “audits” are generic checklists. Mine start with real, provable technical findings on your site: broken schema, content search engines can’t actually read, Core Web Vitals failures, metadata that isn’t doing its job. I show you exactly what I found before you pay for anything.

Why does this actually matter to your business?

You’re reading this because I found something specific and real on your site — not a generic pitch. That finding isn’t cosmetic. Here’s what issues like it actually cost, in plain terms:

  • A broken or missing schema tag doesn’t just look wrong in a validator — it’s the difference between your business showing up in a rich Google result (with a rating, a price, an FAQ dropdown) and showing up as a plain blue link everyone scrolls past.
  • A slow-loading page loses real visitors before they ever see what you offer — and Google measures that speed directly, so it affects whether you show up at all, not just how fast the page feels.
  • Content search engines can’t actually read (hidden behind JavaScript, buried in an image, structured wrong) might as well not exist to Google — and increasingly, to AI answer engines like ChatGPT and Google’s AI Overviews, which are becoming a real second search engine of their own.

None of this is abstract. It’s the reason some businesses show up when a customer searches, and others — often with a better product — don’t. The finding I sent you is one concrete example of that gap on your own site.

How I work

Every fix I make gets checked live, after the fact — not assumed. I don’t report “should be fixed,” I re-fetch the page and confirm it. That discipline is the whole method, not a slogan:

  • filterfitnow.com audit score: 53 → 84 (own site, independently re-scored after fixes — not a vendor’s marketing number).
  • Caught a bad keyword-difficulty call (July 2026): a 49,500/mo keyword scored the lowest difficulty of any term in an entire research cluster — the kind of score that says “build this first.” Checking the real Google results page by hand instead showed the top results were 100% the manufacturer’s own site and major marketplaces, genuinely unwinnable no matter what the tool said. Skipped it before spending a single hour building it.
  • Diagnosed and permanently fixed a site-wide tool outage (August 2026): every finder tool’s tab-switching and search stopped working at once, on both desktop and mobile. Traced the failure to a WordPress content-protection filter getting stripped, letting the page’s own JavaScript get silently corrupted on load — then shipped a fix at the actual root cause, not a patch on the symptom, so the same class of failure structurally can’t happen again. Verified by clicking every affected tool live afterward, not just checking that the code looked right.
  • Caught an exposed API credential during a routine review (July 2026): a live MailerLite API token was sitting in this site’s own public page source. Rotated it and moved the call behind a server-side proxy before it became an incident, not after.
  • Fixed a JavaScript-rendering blind spot (August 2026): this site’s own refrigerator-filter finder tool worked fine in a browser, but its affiliate links only existed inside client-side JS data — invisible to anything that doesn’t execute JavaScript, search crawlers included. Found during a routine review, fixed, and re-verified live afterward.

What a mini-audit covers

A free first look, no strings attached:

  • One specific, provable technical issue on your homepage or a key page (the kind of finding you can screenshot and verify yourself)
  • What it’s actually costing you (in plain terms — not a hypothetical ranking promise)
  • Whether it’s a quick fix or bigger project

I don’t promise rankings or traffic. Nobody can honestly guarantee what Google or an AI answer engine will do — anyone who tells you otherwise isn’t being straight with you. What I can promise is a specific, checkable finding and an honest read on whether fixing it is worth your time.

Live proof of work: filterfitnow.com — an active, ongoing project, not a portfolio mockup.
